Inspired by the legendary Nordic seafarers, Barbie is the Princess of the Vikings, the 8th century explorer of the seas surrounding what is now Scandinavia. She comes dressed in a flowing gown, worn with a golden mesh overskirt and strong breastplate. Her trusty dagger hangs from a golden cord that wraps at her waist. Her long blonde braids are topped with a winged golden helmet.
